The Hunt for the Horses
Mice shows Arthur a video clip of Hitler and the Reich's chancellery garden, just before he went into the bunker with Ava Braun. The film was shot on March the 20th, 1945; Battle of Berlin didn't begin in earnest until almost a month later. As the black and white news reel makes clear, the Reich chancellery is still standing, yet the horses are already gone. This can only mean one thing: Hitler had them removed before the Russian artillery reduced his headquarters to rubble. If Hitler got Torak's horses out before the Reich's Chancellery was destroyed, chances are they survived the war.
