Is There a Need to Stop Crowdfunding Cancer Treatments?

I don't think there's a need to stop because if you're allowing the normal the general public to get natural petience home of a treatment which we know is a pseudo science and doesn't work so I don't get the logic that as long as people are using their own money they can get that treatment. So my question is how fair it is to them also for example if I am seeing a person who's dying of cancer I'll give money to them but if I'm aware that they are giving treatment through homey petty I might not spend money probably putting 100 rupees to somebody else  who might show that their treatment is more valuable than treatment is what is most successful.
