But the good news is this is a dynamic process. Just as you can regain muscle by challenging it again, we can do the same thing with our mitochondria through hormetic stress. We remove a lot of the toxic chronic stressors that are shifting them into defense mode. And we rebuild our mitochondrial networks to create more mitochondria youthful levels.
