The Importance of Computational History

Wolf: The idea of all languages is to provide kind of a notation for talking about the world precisely and computationally. He says once we are able to do that, we're able to get a computer to compute things about what we figured out for us. Wolf: And our goal has been to make as much of possible about the world computational in a sense formal and precise so that we can build towers of capability.
