Like one of the arguments that that leostrauss made is that, pretty pre modern thinkers, you were always in danger of ending up like socrates,. And so you have to read the text extremely closely, because for t the public meaning, the public facing meaning, u the literal meaning, is for one audience. But most philosophers are actually engaging in this conversation overtime with other philosophers. So i am probably, above all else, a philological linguist. I'm somebody who cares very, very much about texts. If i can bridge some topics that we're likemy to talk about, i think you
