How Do You Determine if a Patient Has Capacity for Advance Cure Planning?
Rebecca: How do you determine if a patient has capacity to make the advance cure planning decisions, like naming a surrogate? Rebecca: Can this person communicate a choice? Can they demonstrate understanding of the situation and the consequences. And i think, particularly for people who have u no memory im parament, this be somebody that i would ask on more than one occasion to make sure that it's consistent overtime.
