Eric Han, who was the head of TikTok's US Trust and Safety Operations is leaving the company. He has said that his role was essentially a poisoned chalice. Without strict privacy laws in place within the United States, all of our user data is still being bought and sold. The Chinese government could get hold of all that kind of information just by spending the money.
