How to Use Kotlin for Java Development
As of Spring 5, you add Kotlin as a dependency and you can do whatever you need to. You have that flexibility, but you don't need to do it out of the box. There's probably some scenario where you can't use Kotlin with a Java app. But basically every place you use Java, you can use Kotlin now.
