How Did You Learn to Read?

When was the first time when you started to feel that words or stories might be special? I don't remember a kind about falling in love with books and reading, because it actually hadly all happened really before i got memory. It's just something i've always been able to do. But at school, whenever i said i wanted to be a writerto, teachers in my early ouknow, private school, were always very dismissive.
