Homeostatic Plasticity

Einstein is out there, still affecting scientists that are being born to day and future scientists. Does the existence of a named theory hold you back in some way? I think this kind of gets at like our kind of psychology, like placing labels and boxes on things, and how that almost springs us sense of comfort. And maybe it's just a question about reframing the way we think about naming ideas.
