In one of the dark arts of building performant garbage colected programes is figuring out just how to twiddle that knob. I quite like the design of the camel one in this regard. And if you put up one direction, the program takes more memory and goes faster. You put it the other direction, theProgram takes less memory and goes slower. That's pleasingly simple. Yes? I get. Another thing that people think of as a trade off there has to do with the length of pauses,. If you want responsive programmes, then i think people think tracing collectors are problematic because they havethe phases where they stop the programme and scan everything. But that's not quite right either
