Cardiology and Bradyaridmia

The most common bradycardia found was sinus node dysfunction followed by high grade AV block. There were no differences in syncope nor sudden cardiovascular death. Pacemakers were put in 4.5% of the loop arm, 2.9%. That's a 53% increase in pacemakers which was highly significant. It is clear now that patients and doctors alike have not recalibrated what we call normal.
