The new york times, buz feet, pro publica are all organizations that want people from repressive regimes to be able to access their information. onion net working is for you, because you can make sure that no one can mess with your traffic. There's an old saying from the early days of the internet, or at least possibly from the 19 eighties or thereabouts, that the internet treats censorship as damage and roots around it. So it's arguable that tor is the future of the internet.
