Giving yourself permission not to know everything will make you relax, which is the ideal frame of mind to receive new information. You must be comfortable to really listen, to really hear and absorb new information. The inquisitiveness essential to transcending this fear is a prerequisite to learning. There are few rewards on our society for admitting ignorance as there are punishments for doing so.
