I Think This Is a Valid Scientific Question.
i think if we think about misinformation and fact checking as the real world phenomena, i think you're perfectly correct too, to scream that we should be very, very cautious. I think it's worth putting into circulation what's at stake, which is that one thing that people might say iss that they're going to hold on to whatever beliefs they have no matter what. That is something maybe to lament. When you think about the health of political discourse that you would like people to we would expect to see some evidence of up dating. And worse yet, and this is where ethan tom got into this is the possibility of a backlash effect.
