The Importance of Case Formulation for Newly Minted Residents
Dr. Ranga: Think about our five P's predisposing, precipitating, presenting, perpetuating and prognostic. We have biological factors, psychological factors, social factors, developmental factors,. cultural factors, as well as factors that stem from the patient's family of origin. He says it is helpful to put a comprehensive evaluation in there to make sure everybody is on the same page.
