Bioethics - Is There a Multiple Origin of Life?

I feel like I'm sort of manic depressive in the bioethics conversation going from like horror to excitement and enthusiasm. It seems like one of the implications of your work is that we might be completely wrong in assuming that there was one origin billions of years ago. Life may start to emerge, and then it's just sort of devoured. Such is life. So that speaks to a bigger theme that a thread through us if I work on incumbency and the suppression of innovation.
