How to Calculate the Coefficient of Variation in a Diagnostic Model

Under five percent is good for a difficult assay, but it's pretty bad for a good end. You take the standard deviation of the control samples you divided by the mean of the analyte that gives you the coefficient of variation. And then we would run four or five of four to six or whatever of those in every single batch and calculate. But all diagnosis is a medical model used for decision making.
