Madison Cawthorne - Can't Run for Reelection?
Voters in north carolina are moving to block madison cawthorne from being able to run for reelection. They say that he fails to comply with an amendment in the constitution ratified shortly after the civil war. The 18 68 amendment says no one can serve in congress who have, having previously taken an oath as a member of congress,. shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same. And so i think that's a really interesting argument, and i'm curious whith the audience thinks about it, whether or nota they should be able to move forward with this kind of a challenge tocawthorne.
