I think the journey is important. We have been using this down time to really imagineibits, and with that whole bunch of stuff we want to show the world. The first priority is to remove the iconic assaults that take place all across this country. And i just think we have underestimated the damage that is done by signalling this very confused orientation to our history. There are 59 markers and memorials to the confederacy; you couldn't find the word slave, slavery or enslavement anywhere in montgomery. It's just painful to live in a place like that. But i do think we should be replacing them with a totems and symbols that help us understand our capacity to do better
