The Creative Third Way Forward
In the first century, a Jewish man wore two garments in inner garment, which the NIV here translates shirt. And then you had an outer garment, which was more like a robe that you would wear over your inner garment. If anyone wants to sue you and take your shirt, hand over your coat as well. In this hypothetical scenario, where you're a bad guy, all right? So that's option B is fight. What if there's an option C? And this is what Jesus has. He says: "What if there's a creative third way forward?"
