She wanted to create something fully imersive for their customers, not another infinite scroll through a grid of thumb nails. To day's ecommerce interface is good for finding just what you want and check out really quickly. But on line, the only defenciation is like font and color. When you're at the grocery store, the sun glasses retailer or the car dealership, there are different levels of engagement.
