Planning and Markets - The Third Example
Many foods in Russia during the time of the Soviet Union were handled in this way. Then there were other things they did not allow to be handled in a market. They wanted to control things like grain, the basics of food. But it was, yep, a mixture of planning and markets. And then we have the third example that I really want to drive home to you: A society that wasn't ideologically committed to the either or, either your market or your planning.
