The Importance of Augustine in Celtic Christianity
There was already a lot of Irish and Celtic Christianity on the west side of the island, from the Romans. But he was the first missionary not to the kind of Celts and Britain people on that side, but to the Saxons and the Angles. And another thing that's interesting about him is that this is a time period where the Celtic Church isn't really like super helpful because it wasn't organized. They're really disconnected also from the Pope and Rome.
