Haite's Contribution to the Development of Human Rights

In hayte, he was a member of the body that drafted the haytian constitution of 19 forty six. One of his first duties was to participate in the creation of the universal declaration of human rights. He later opposed the stipulation that elections should take place by secret ballot saying illiterate people would thus be excluded from voting and the suffrage would no longer be universal.
