So we're in the Dutch settlement of Greensburg or Terry Town which is in the state of New York and about two miles down the road is a very quiet valley that the narrator Deidre Nicobocker describes thus. From the listless repose of the place and the peculiar characters of its inhabitants who are descendants from the original Dutch settlers this sequestered Glen has long been known by the name of Sleepy Hollow.
