Make friends that are peers within your space. You need somebody else to be like, hey, what would you do in this situation? Or, i'm going through this. How you treat people behind closed doors becomes your reputation. Don't project them on to the person coming into your space. Show up with integrity and treat them like a human. Give them an opportunity to learn a beter way to communicate with you with kindness.
