What Was It About Don Lavoy as a Teacher?

Don Lavoy treated me like a graduate student as an undergraduate he invited me into those circles and I'm sure I was a total pain in the in the rear end to the graduate students who had worked so hard to get close to him. But Don you know was just wildly enthusiastic about this this undergrad who was expressing this kind of passion for the ideas. So his willingness to work with me one on one in independent studies as a first year felt like getting treated like a Graduate Student. It's decidedly non Austrian or at least it was at the time and and it was pretty standard the approach that was taken.
