This is a story that I definitely wanted to be true, but sadly, it is most certainly an invention of later storytellers. Modern historians have gone so far as to say that this could have been stomach cancer. So, Usegi Kenshin probably did die on the toilet, but it probably wasn't because a tiny ninja was hidden in there.
