The Consumer Price Index Is Cooling Down

Consumer price index ticked down 0.1% in December, which may not sound like a lot but it's very meaningful knowing that December is a major consumer spending month. Core CPI indicator draws about 0.3%. That was what a lot of economists expected; this tells me that inflation is cooling down. Buyers and sellers are more comfortable acquiring a home with a rate in the 5s than 6, 6.5, 7. I'm clear this is going to continue.
