I had this intuition that an opportunity was coming my way, that I needed to break out. And so the first opportunity came when I decided that I wasn't happy at my Christian school anymore. So luckily I had a step brother, a step half brother. He lived in Dana Point and basically I would drive up every weekend to go to the beach. That's where I really found this deep peace in me, whenever I was by the ocean.
