Is There a Push to Make Cycling Safe?
Cycle lanes are increasing in tunis. Equally, their being built in lebanon as an just the cost of running a car is making cycling more attractive. The problem really is that they are not connected. So if you try to encourage people to en a cycle as a commute to get to then there is no real way of doing it. I think the problem for a lot of these governments is that cycling seems like a very low priority issue. Many of them are facing international conflicts, international rivalries, ah domestically. But i's actually a relatively quick win and an easy win, if they have the will to do it.
