Scientists in Australia and the US are involved in a multi-million dollar project to bring the Tasmanian Tiger back to life. The species was originally discovered on the southern island state of Tasmania, but last one died in 1936. Professor Andrew Pask from the University of Melbourne has been working on this project for over 15 years. He says it took advances in science to get to the point that we can propose to do a project as big and undertaking as this.
