Robin Hood's Trap

Robin Hood devised what he thought would be a marvellous trap. There was to be an archery contest with a large prize. The villagers were soon aware of his motives. They sent word to us that we should stay far away from this archery contest. But Robin and his men are not to be discouraged by such small problems. We decided that all of us would go to the competition, in clever disguises. I knew I could transform myself beyond suspicion. Then I dyed my beard dark brown and placed a patch over one of my eyes.
