Moonlight Can Set the Moonlight on the Moon

The moon is three orders a magnitude lower than what has accreted to earth. A study found that cryptochrome genes were expressed significantly more on new nights than other nights. The bright light from the full moon is the signal for animals, both vertebrates and invertebrates, to reproduce together.
