The Importance of Having an Accountability Partner

If there's been a long-standing pattern and if this is kind of their first coming out, ordinarily, not always, I would say, I think you need to confess this to your spouse. An accountability partner is only good as the transparency you'll have with him. There's only so much somebody else can do. And again, I was having this conversation with somebody just last night where they were saying they needed to go to X as their accountability partner. And I could tell if this person was relying on this.
