Long working hours, or the expense of having children have all contributed to a lower birth rate here. I don't see japan excepting a huge number of imigrants in the near future - i think they cannot. So maybe the answer is technology. You see a lot of unmanned sort of convenienc stores opening up for old workers. E these little robots that you can stick on your thighs to sort of help to move around. And a lot of the factory work and stuff like that are being stream lined by robots. But perhaps this is sort of like a siphy future, a lot of these tasks could be overrun by machines and a i but then there's hokido bear
