Baki's case is now before the Supreme Court. Baki gets a tip from an insider at the University who tells him, hey we have this admissions program that a lot 16 seats that were effectively designated for students who were from insular minority groups. So if he was rejected from all these schools why does he sue UC Davis? Well, there's this great moment with Thurgood Marshall who of course had argued Brown Fee Board of Education and was now a justice on the court.
