The Problem With Utilitarianism
effective altruism is completely statistical. It doesn't deal with individuals. It deals with statistics. And if some individuals have to be sacrificed for the greater good, you know, or not helped for the greaterGood, so be it. As long as you're doing the most for the most, the most you can for the most number of people, the utilitarian, you are good. That's a fundamental problem with utilitarianism in general. The article says a lot of these people attracted that field are in that. Yeah.
