Is There a Fair Way to Do a Jump Scare?
There's like a fair way to do a jump scare and a cheap way. Just playing a really loud noise after a period of quiet is that's cheap because you can make anything scary. In traditional horror films, you seem coming a mile away. But in Skinnamarine it never actually had that music place. And if every shot is lingering, like, you don't actually know when it's coming. I saw a film once called The Wolfman which was just complete dog shit.
