The Call of Elijah

The name Elisha is a combination of El, which is the word for God and Yasha, which means save. So it's actually a pretty cool parallel here to the name of Jesus. And what is Elisha doing? Well, he's working basically. He's plowing with 12 yoke of oxen in front of him. Now, I'm not a farmer. We had John Deere tractors. We didn't have, we didn't have oxen. There's some numerical significance here, but just on kind of an practical level, like, well, that's a lot of yoke.
