The Second Reason We Should Pray Is Because Prayer Is Supernaturally Beneficial
Prayer is the opposite of haughty spirit that's talked about in james. You don't make your plans and pretend that god isn't sovereign over all of it, you humbly say, here's my plan, lord. Would you bless it? I want to see you honored through this. That's what makes prayer absolutely necessary. Unless the lord blesses your plans, all of it's in vain. And second reason we should pray is because prayer is supernaturally beneficial.
