Why Is the US So Focused on Short Term Gain?
I think a lot of the things that are being done, especially in the US is so focusing so much on short term gain. The crucial elements to sustain a healthy society include health care and education. I don't think they expect it to be profitable in the recent years. It doesn't matter if things are immediately profitable or even necessarily ever profitable. If you want to become rich, I build a road first.
