The Dark Side of Missions
I was so concerned about gaining weight on my mission. Food became sort of a coping mechanism again, like we would go get ice cream every day. A lot of the food I was eating was not in my control because you are getting fed. The impact of all that on your physical and mental health was? Pretty bad. It's almost impossible to sum up because it was 18 months of my life.
