Derek's estate and the John Hanside gallery in Southampton on the modern nature exhibition. James McKeis said he had to eventually install an answer phone which was unusual for the early 70s because Derek would ring up at three o'clock in the morning got to do this. The publication of modern nature really brought a whole new lens on Derek and this whole hinterland which I hadn't really been aware of.
