The Evolution of Christian Apologetics
In 2008, Tim Keller published The Reason for God, Belief in the Age of Skepticism. Every culture hostile to Christianity holds to a set of common sense consensus beliefs that automatically make Christianity seem implausible; this is called Defeater Beliefs. Christian apologetics aims to identify where Christianity seems implausible to a given culture and give good, thoughtful defense to that implausibility.
