Introduction

Chamath Paliapatia is founder and CEO of Social Capital, a technology-driven investment firm. He was born in Sri Lanka but grew up in Canada; he graduated with an electrical engineering degree from the University of Waterloo. Before founding Social Capital, Chamath was a member of the senior executive team at Facebook. Moderating the conversation will be DJ, co-founder of Athos - his company started as his senior year design project right here at Waterloo.
