Are You Making Less Friends?

Our friendships turnover any way, and certainly in 18 to 20 somethings, our data, suggest the turnover rates of very, very high. The people i worry most about are the old folks like you and me, because we're at a stage of life where if friends move away, we lose them for some reason. There's this kind of tendency for old people's social networks from about 65 70 onwards, to kind of contract inwards.
