The Importance of Inequality

One reason why we should care about inequality is because it corrodes relationships between individuals in society. Some people become powerful, other people become subservient. Friendship presumably becomes more difficult to achieve between people who aren't equal in society. So as an example from my own personal sphere of people I know, my brother moved to Mozambique,. which at the time was one of the poorest countries in the world.
