Eventually the articles of confederation got scrapped and a new constitution, our constitution, was put in place in 17 89. The idea that this government is taking some time to get off the ground? That he needs to take a forceful hand,. and the government should have a king. And you'll notice how washington reacts to even the merest, distant suggestion that he might become King.
